I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE FIRST EPISODE!

I think this is going to be an outstanding series. Sam and Bucky both have realistic emotional storylines, plus there's action and special effects galore! Can't wait for more!

But WHY is so much bitching, moaning and hate in the Stucky Fandom being expressed online about this series and its "straight Bucky"? People need to accept that in the MCU, Steve and Bucky are presented as straight. Any gay subtext is precisely that -- SUBTEXT. That's precisely what makes it so fun to tease out and transform the subtext for shipping purposes. But don't confuse transformational work with unrealistic expectations that Canon is going to affirm and reflect gay shipping. Sheesh, you people!

So anyway, as far as I'm concerned, "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" deserves FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS!
