Loki seduces Tony

Tony: If I say yes will you untie me?
Loki: Is that what you want?
Loki continues to move his hand as Stark
lets out a low exasperated groan
Tony: I really hate you sometimes
The god smirks
Loki: I know

Midgardian Tech

You can't say The Boys don't keep up on our technology --

1:29 PM TXT MSG from Loki: i want ur dick-k-k-k
1:40 PM TXT MSG from Thor: Brother, I hardly think that’s appropriate language for one such as yourself.
1:40 PM TXT MSG from Loki: so wat r u dtf????
1:45 PM TXT MSG from Thor: What is this ‘dtf’?
1:46 PM TXT MSG from Loki: down to fuck >:]

Loki learns txt speak quickly and Thor takes 10 minutes to type out a message because grammar and punctuation are a must. You’d think it’d be the other way around, but Loki likes to keep up with Midgardian trends~

Take Me to Slash Church

As soon as I heard Hozier's Take Me to Church, I knew this song would make the perfect Thorki video! How could it not? All that angst-filled sexual and emotional thralldom to a fascinating, dominant and ultimately cruel lover . . . .

I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins so you can sharpen your knife
                           Offer me that deathless death
Good god, let me give you my life

Hopefully someone will make an exclusively Thunderfrost video of this song some day but for now all I can find on YouTube is this slash homage to various OTPs, my boys included.

Marvel versus DC

Unlike DC's simplistic approach where everything is black-and-white / good-and-evil, Marvel takes a more nuanced approach . . . .

[found at Cheezburger]

And DC definitely lags behind Marvel in its treatment of women, black and LGBTQ characters. Marvel is currently making a real effort to get into the 21st century in this area. DC is not.

Loki's Toll

Dealing with Loki has brought Thor's happy, carefree days of youth to an end.

And only Loki can make Thor cry.

Thor's Hair Colour

In the Marvel universe of comics and movies, Thor has a glorious mane of gorgeous blonde hair. This has now become artists' most common way of depicting him.

[original source of gif unknown]

But in Norse mythology, Thor is traditionally said to have red hair. It is the hair colour unique to the Scandinavian Vikings and subsequently to the other peoples with whom they interbred like the Scots and Irish. As Vikings raided further south into slavic lands, they became known as rus, the slavic word for red and the basis of today's word Russian.

So, for a change, here's a few red-haired Thors --

Is Loki Celebrating Tom's Birthday Too?

No, he's planning a different party. A big bash for Thor and the rest of the gods instead. To steal a line from Thor's epic rap battle with Zeus, he's gonna Ragnarok-the-house!

Our Tom is 34 Today

In true fangirl fashion, I'm celebrating Tom Hiddleston's 1981 birthday by posting a few photos of his other stellar film and stage roles. He's more than just Loki, although we all know that Loki would be enough! And now should I go squeeeee? (Pardon me, I'm new to fangirling). Okay, squeeeee!

Bromance Backpedaling

So no sooner do I undertake to ship Hiddlesworth as a bromance only than I come across THIS great photo manip --

[found at The Meta Picture]

And OF COURSE what immediately leaps to mind is that this is really Tom Hiddleston's and Chris Hemsworth's LOVE CHILD -- the product of Hiddlesworth MPREG! *sigh* Those two would create such beautiful offspring together, it's true.
