When Steve and Bucky lived together before the war, everything about their Brooklyn tenement was brown and worn except to the extent that the boys could brighten it up with sunlight, flowers and Steve's art.

Living in Brooklyn again 70 years later, Steve tries to recapture that lost feeling of home by living in a vintage apartment. Everything is beige and sepia, with old-fashioned looking fixtures, appliances and decor. No chrome or modern furniture for him!
