[CAPTAIN AMERICA: SYMBOL OF TRUTH #13 --
COLD WAR PART 4
Writer: Tochi Onyebuchi
Artist: R.B. Silva
Cover Artists: R.B. Silva and Jesus Aburtov]
After the explosion, Misty and Sharon are left incapacitated. Sam refuses to push the team towards certain death without a backup plan. But Steve's single-minded concern is only for his son Ian and he insists on pressing forward to rescue him. The dispute results in a knock-down, drag-out fight between Steve and Sam. Accusing Steve of selfishly endangering those non-super-soldiers who follow him, Sam prevails in the fight and apparently throws Steve into an abyss of some kind.

Meanwhile, White Wolf has gone even further off script and is sending his monstrous "dogs of war" to kill both Captains America and the others. All The New Revolution can do is surreptitiously plead with Ian and the Black Widow to trust him. "Bucky . . . I hope you know what you're doing." Ian says.

Quite frankly, the best thing about this issue is that fantastic cover of Sam Wilson kneeing Steve Rogers in the nuts. Hopefully the story will get some more depth to it in the next issue.
