The Invaders arrive in Dimension Z. Sam fears it is a trap, but all Steve wants to do is rescue his adopted son Ian. While fighting the monsters, Steve has a number of flashbacks to when he was trapped on Dimension Z for 10 years, during which time he met and protected the wild child Ian.

Meanwhile, back at the Outer Circle, The Money and The Power (who is wounded, not dead after all) are feeling desperate. The Money kills The Love and The Machine in order to consolidate all Game moves in their own hands. But the player they really want to kill is The New Revolution because "he might be even more insane" than the original Revolution.
Speaking of The New Revolution, he is busy fighting off the Black Widow. She wants to take him back home because he is "out of control. Grasping for power you don't understand." Bucky asks her to stay with him instead -- "you can . . . make sure I don't go too Super Villain" -- but she has to trust him. Widow slashes his cheek, saying that she'll always trust Bucky Barnes, but not "whoever you're pretending to be." Bucky responds by saying that the world has made him a different person now, but Black Widow isn't buying his B.S. "We control who we become," she says.

This issue ends with White Wolf trying to kill The Invaders in a huge explosion, which was not part of The New Revolution's strategy.
