I think the answer is pretty obviously "yes." Not only is Robert Downey Jr aging out of the role, but Tony Stark's tech role for the Avengers is clearly going to be inherited by Shuri, who is brilliant and unencumbered by Tony's dubious morality around the arms business.

And I'm sure Tony will go out like a true hero, saving the day, but not before a lot of angst.
