I hate that this was never unpacked properly on screen. The startled realization that Sam quickly hides. The way Bucky’s eyes flick to Zemo like “shit, he really does know” and his resigned expression as yet another layer of privacy is peeled away from him against his will. So much trauma here, never to be spoken of or alluded to again onscreen.
