One of the most powerful of all the Winter Soldier's weapons is his cybernetic arm. Few can withstand its force.

The Winter Soldier is always well-armed with weaponry. Always. There is no down time for him.

Being armed to the teeth is only part of it, though. The Winter Soldier has almost unparalleled fighting abilities and skills.

Slashaholic Shipping Addiction, Year 5

Well, today marks the 5th blogoversary of the Thunderfrost Boys blog. That means it is time once again to take annual stock of my slashoholic shipping addiction. How fares the good ship Stucky?

I'm still collecting and posting art, gifs and videos of Steve 'n Bucky and reading more than my fair share of Stucky/Starbucks fanfics. At times, I think my fascination with the story, characters, love and angst of Captain America and the Winter Soldier is starting to wane with saturation. But then, before I know it, the obsession picks right back up again and I'm enthralled with them all over again!

Thor and Loki are still getting some of my attention, along with a few of the other Avengers characters. Infinity Wars was a major boost to the fandom in 2018. And of course Endgame will finish the run and tie up all the loose ends (hopefully) in 2019. Can hardly wait!

But once that influx of new material is over and digested by the fandom, I can see that my Stucky/Starbucks Slashaholic Shipping Addiction may come to an end. It must feed on new material and once the MCU moves on to other superheroes and story arcs, I can see myself losing interest.

Another uncertainty is the continued availability of sexually explicit fanwork on Tumblr now that Tumblrgeddon has occurred. We'll see how that turns out . . . .

Will this coming year be the final one for this blog? That remains to be seen on next year's 6th blogoversary.
