Loki's fondness for goth nail polish originates from the Marvel comic book universe, not from the movies.

But the look is a definite fan favourite. Of course Loki would paint his nails black! It goes so well with his fondness for leather, chains and metal. As well as being colour-coordinated with those outfits. That's important.
